A junior residing in the state of Arkansas who is 9 years of age on the date that They will compete in at the State Overall is eligible. A Junior is eligible until he or she turn 19 or enters college, whichever comes first. Whatever age you are during the State Overall is the division that you must qualify. Top 3 and ties in each age division will be invited to the State Overall.
APPLICATION FOR ENTRY
Registration deadline: Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 5:00 pm. All entries must be registered on-line by going to www.arkansaspga.com starting April 1. All entrants must register and play in the region in which they live.Points will be awarded only to junior’s playing in their own regions. All juniors play in their designated age groups. Age group is determined by participants age on the date of the Overall Championship.
Arkansas PGA Professionals will be responsible for all clinics, events and rules decisions. Play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf and all decisions made by the site professionals will be final. Questions may be directed to the Regional Directors or Dawn Darter, Arkansas PGA Junior Tour Director.
The number of holes to be played (9 or 18) will be determined by the number of entries and the ages of the entrants. Age groups will be awarded plaques.
Boys’ shirts must have collars and sleeves. Girls’ shirts do not require collars or sleeves. No T-shirts, tank tops, open mesh or midriff tops. Boys’ shirts must be tucked in at all times. Shorts must be an appropriate length. No gym shorts or cutoffs. Caps must be worn with the bill facing forward. Soft spikes only – NO metal spikes will be allowed.
The registration fee for each region of Arkansas Junior PGA Tour will be $95. By going to http://www.arkansaspga.com you will click on a link that will take to a registration page. You must register to play in each event. Results and standings will be on our website going to this link. Your entry fee gets you eligible to play and register for each event. You must register for each event within 48 hours of the event. Juniors that fail to register for each event are subject to not playing in that event.
Plaques will be awarded to the Winner and Runner-Up in each age division at each tournament in the region. Trophies will be given to the top finishers in each age division at the Arkansas PGA Junior Tour Overall Championship.

Please note the starting times for each region as they are different for each region.
GOLF CARS AND CADDIES
Juniors will not be allowed to use a motorized golf carts or caddies. Parents and spectators are allowed to rent golf cars from the host facility or walk the golf course, but are confined to CART PATH ONLY! Parents will not be allowed to have any contact with their junior or another junior at any time during the course of play except the 9-11 age division. The junior must bring any rules questions to the attention of the host profes- sional or regional director. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate disqualification of the junior from the event and the parent(s) will not be allowed on the golf course at any future Arkansas PGA Junior Tour Events.
POINTS AND OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Points will be allocated based on finishing positions at each regional event:
1st 100 / 2nd 90 / 3rd 80 / 4th 70 / 5th 60 / 6th 50 / 7th 40 / 8th 30 / 9th 20 / 10th 10
Top 3 finishers in each age group in the Overall Championship will be eligible to play in the Walter Hopper South Central Section Tour Overall.
Ties for top 3 will be settled in a sudden death playoff concluding play.
